Laser Pigmentation Removal with the PicoSure Pro

We are Perth/WA’s only cosmetic provider of the PicoSure Pro laser, the latest generation medical grade laser (full strength Class 4 and only available to doctors as compared to low strength class 2 or 3 lasers commonly found in salons) and which is excellent for all skin types. This laser delivers bursts of energy in picoseconds which is so quick (one trillionth of a second) that it generates pressure waves within the skin which spares the skin from the heat damage associated with traditional lasers which means less discomfort and no downtime. Furthermore, there should be no blistering, crusting or shedding unlike with other, hot lasers. The treatment itself takes less than 10 minutes.

In addition to removing unwanted pigmentation (including melasma, freckles and sunspots, etc) the laser will also improve general skin condition, lightening & brightening the complexion, reducing open pores and the laser also uses a unique platinum focus lens that stimulates the body to form collagen where it is needed to rejuvenate and reduce scarring. Collagen is the most important structural protein in our skin and we lose 1% every year from age 20 which predisposes to winkles, jowls, etc. 

The PicoSure Pro breaks pigmentation into small fragments which the body’s immune system then removes so there is no ‘shedding’. Other lasers use heat to do this whilst our Picosure Pro generates cold pressure waves within the skin.

No special skin preparation is required beforehand, although some medications need to be avoided (esp Retinols)
